Nothing but pow, deep, soft floaty pow. Three days of face shots and the forecast is for more! 86 inch base in camp. Moderate temps and steady snowfall this past week helped the pack settle fast and ski well.

Great Weekend 1/22-1-24

Another week, another foot of snow, good stability =
naming runs.

Sunshine and the Crew went big, and by big i mean long.
The Void was touched via Fly Creek and then they tapped the
NW side of Red for a 2000 foot shot down to Cliff Creek.
I think we decided the way to go back is with a tent, or at
least long days in the spring. New zones every day.

While the crew was out exploring the edge, the powder
hounds and i searched out the best face shots in the basin.

We quickly found ourselves right behind the yurt skiing 500
foot 35-40 degree shots of ridiculously fun, reasonably
stable pow.
We got 10 cm of light and fluffy (5%) on top of 45cm Boot
pen....that really took it to the next level.

Smiles were had by all.

Century Party this weekend.
